MAD Comics

DESCRIPTION

MAD Comics is a comic book business that me and my friend started back Way back in the 4th Grade. Over the years it sort of fell through, making a grand profit of $4 in a year. Wow. But Recently, I saw that MAD Comics was a vital part to my future. Do you see how much money Marvel and DC are making, off of long underwearin superheros? Well, I have my own ideas for some super heroes and villains, such as The Man Called Mutant, Tyrant Boy, and The Dark Voltage. So whenever I have free time (Which  is not much, so I only have a few issues done), I usually work on my comics.

HISTORY

SPIDERS AND NICKLES
MAD Comics was started by me and my friend back in 4th grade with one series: The Spectacular Spider. This was the biggest ripoff of Spider-Man. Seriously, we would take a villain and change it just a little so it wasn't a Spider-Man Villain, and have him copy everything. But we made lots of nickles off of it. 2 months later, we were already in Issue 50, and kids wanted more. So one night, I went Christmas shopping with my Grandma at Target. There, I saw this little $10 computer game named Dino Island. It looked like the biggest ripoff of Jurassic Park ever. Well i didn't give it another thought until later that night. I had a dream. A very Good dream at that.

DREAMS OF DINOSAURS
That December Night, I had a life changing dream. I had a dream about Dino Island, but in a totally different way. I saw a teenage kid in a blue and red stripped shirt transform into a T. Rex and battle a Raptor that was destroying the park. In the distance I saw the manager of the park cheering on as the Dinosaur Kid saved the day. I suddenly awoke, and thought about what i just dreamed. The next day in School, i doodled like crazy. By the end of the day, I had a back story as to how the kid had transformed, some villains for him to face, and a complete cast. Things were looking up for MAD Comics.

FORGOTTEN AND LOST
Day By Day, MAD Comics started to disappear. The homework got harder in 5th grade, so there was no time to draw out comics. Kids started to grow up and not want to buy stupid drawings, and I did too. I felt like a nerd asking older kids if they "Wanted to buy the next exciting issue of Spider!?". Soon, MAD Comics was completely forgotten. Unfinished issues lay untouched at the bottom of my desk drawer as new video games took their place. It seems at though all these good ideas were only worth $4.

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
As I get older, I look to see what I want to do when i grow up. Right now, There are 4 things on my Bucket List: 1. Own a Theme Park, 2. Have a successful Comic Publishing Business, 3. Produce a few movies, and 4. Publish a few Video Games.  Looking towards the future can bring out good memories. As i look through these unfinished issues, I remember ow fun it was coming up with ideas with my long forgotten friends, and how fun it is going to be to finish these. =D
